Meet Coach ProctorJames Proctor has completed his 20th season at the helm of the Worcester Academy boys soccer program. Coach Proctor has revitalized the program and made it into a regular post-season contender. During Proctor’s time at WA, he has compiled a 237-69-49 record which includes: one NEPSAC Class A title, three WNEPSSA Class “A” titles, four New England prep Finals, nine New England Prep semi finals & fourteen New England Prep quarter final appearances. In 2007 & 2016, Coach Proctor was the NSCAA, Mass Prep Coach of the year. Coach Proctor has produced many All State & NSCAA All Region players as well as three NSCAA All America players. Coach Proctor has helped over a 150+ players between Club & WA Soccer in the last 20 years to play at the collegiate level. The program was nationally ranked 3rd in 2014, 6th in 2015, 5th in 2016, 7th in 2017 and 3rd in 2018.
Prior to his arrival at WA, Coach Proctor served has an assistant coach in 1999 at BB&N in Cambridge helping coach them to a New England Prep semi final. Proctor has been very active with the local soccer scene since 1998, coaching camps and premier soccer teams. In 2008 Proctor led the New England Eagles to a Boys U16 Massachusetts State Cup title & Massachusetts Fair Play award and followed that up with a Semi Final appearance at regional's and won the regional Fair Play award. Proctor holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National "B" coaching license. Coach Proctor is a native of York, England.
Coach Proctor was a professional soccer player for twelve years before retiring in 2005.
