Apply

Applying to an independent school may seem a little daunting, but we’re here to make it as easy as possible! It really all comes down to these steps:

Step 1: Inquire.

Complete our online Inquiry Form. This tells us that you’re interested in exploring Worcester Academy. As soon as we have your information, we’ll send you some helpful printed materials through the mail and you will have access to your Ravenna account – an online space that makes it easy for you to track and manage your application progress.

Step 2: Interview.

Schedule your virtual tour and interview online using the Ravenna platform. (Weekend tours are not available.)

*International students should contact admission@worcesteracademy.org directly to schedule an interview. English proficiency test results are required.

Step 3: (Optional) Register for Exams.

You may submit results from the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT). Please note that standardized testing is optional for 2020-21 applicants.

INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS
Non-native English speakers must demonstrate proficiency by taking the TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo English Test. Scores must be submitted before the interview can be scheduled.

Step 4: Send Recommendations and Transcripts.

Have your school submit your transcripts and recommendations through Ravenna. We require a recommendation from your math and English teacher as well as a counselor/principal.

Step 5: Apply.

Fill out your application in Ravenna. Applications received by January 15th will receive priority consideration for admission and financial aid!
