WA Tops Cheshire
For the second time in eight days, Worcester defeated fellow league member Cheshire Academy, 89-76.
WA hopped out in front early and never looked back. A 18-point first half from junior wing TJ Power (Shrewsbury, MA) keyed WA to a 48-39 lead at the half.
Fellow juniors Kayvaun Mulready (Worcester, MA) & Tre Norman (Boston, MA) paced WA in the second half, and the Hilltoppers cruised to a league victory.
Power lead the way with 25 points, including a perfect 10/10 from the field and 5/5 from beyond the charity stripe. Norman added 21, while Mulready chipped in 18. Post-graduate guard Jake Shapiro (Los Angeles, CA) scored a career-high 14 points, including drilling four 3-pointers.
