WA Tops Proctor On The Road

Worcester traveled to league rival Proctor Academy on Wednesday afternoon.  After overcoming a slow start, WA cruised to a double-digit victory.

Senior wing & Holy Cross commit Judson Martindale (Sudbury, MA) got the scoring going early for Worcester with a series of finishes at the rim and one pull-up as the half-time buzzer sounded.  He finished with 15 first-half points.  Senior point guard Quest Harris (Lowell, MA) scored 8 points on a variety of finishes at the rim.

WA pushed the second half lead to as many as 20, and ended up cruising to an 18-point win.

Martindale lead WA with 19 points and 6 rebounds.  Sophomore guard Daniel Becil (New York, NY) scored 15 points (including three 3-pointers).  Senior & fellow Holy Cross commit Mike Rabinovich (Hopkinton, MA) scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds, while Harris added 11 points, 9 rebounds & 4 assists.

Worcester will play two games this upcoming weekend.  They will travel to Cathedral HS in Boston to face off against Hoosac School at noon on Saturday as part of the BABC Prep Classic.  The Hilltoppers will then travel to American International College in Springfield to play Perkiomen School (PA) at 3:45pm on Sunday as part of the Hoophall Prep Showcase.
