WA- 3 St. Mark's- 0

With the varsity debut of several players and the return of an injured captain, the Hilltoppers took it to St. Mark's for a 3-0 victory. In the 35th minute, senior Shelby Khoury took a free kick from the left corner to the far post, where Brenna Snell collected it and shot it on goal. Then, in the 2nd minute of the second half, Worcester earned a penalty kick, and Liz Finn deflected the shot off the outstretched keeper's hand for the 2-0 lead. Six minutes later, Vanessa Gangi went one-on-one against the keeper, got around her, and scored her 2nd of the game to finish out the scoring. Senior captain Meg Nguyen returned to the field after missing 9 games due to injury, and newcomers Kaileigh Wall, Grace Gallagher, Leah Crowley, and Stella Gray made their varsity debuts for the Hilltoppers. Keeper Sam Scott made 6 saves on the way to her 6th solo (8th team) shutout of the season.
