For nearly 77 minutes, the Hilltoppers and the Mustangs of Milton Academy battled to a stalemate, and it looked as though the game would end in a tie. But with 3 minutes to play, Kelli Buckley sent a through ball to Liz Finn, and Liz went one-on-one against the Mustang keeper and slipped it passed her for the only goal of the game. Keeper Sam Scott earned the shutout, making 6 saves, none of which were very dangerous thanks to the defensive play of Mitra Asdigha, Kelsey Wandyes, Haley Fenlon, and Carlin Stewart.
