Unable to find the back of the net in the first half, the Hilltoppers scored twice in the 2nd half to defeat Marianapolis 2-0. In the 52nd minute, Vanessa Gangi converted off of a scramble in front of the net after a Hilltopper corner. Then, in the 64th minute, Katie O'Reilly split the seam to release Liz Finn on a breakaway, and after Liz put a move on the Marianapolis keeper, she walked the ball into the goal to clinch the 2-0 victory. The forward corps of Liz Finn, Brenna Snell, Lily LaGrassa, Shelby Khoury, Kat Cawley, Vanessa Gangi, and Addie Reynolds kept the pressure on the Marianapolis net to keep the opponents from mounting much of an attack in the second half. Sam Scott made 4 saves to earn her 4th shutout of the season and the 5th for the team.
