The Hilltoppers traveled to the Pomfret School today and, as usual, were faced with a tough battle with the Griffins. After 68 minutes of scoreless action, the Hilltoppers took the lead, as sophomore Kelli Buckley scored her first goal of the season, converting a cross from senior Vanessa Gangi. Pomfret continued to press to the end, but Worcester held on for the 1-0 victory. Junior keeper Sam Scott made 8 saves to record the shutout.
