College Counseling

We’re here with you as you make your college plans.

Colleges and universities across the country and around the world know Worcester Academy as a school that prepares its students for whatever lies ahead. Our College Counseling Office mirrors our educational philosophy, helping every Hilltopper identify institutions of higher learning that reflect their individual interests, abilities, needs, and aspirations.

Our Mission is to:
  • Help each student make good educational choices;
  • Counsel students and parents through every phase of the college admission process; and
  • Support students’ submission of strong applications for admission.

We begin the process in earnest during junior year when our college counselors conduct programs and workshops, and hold one-on-one meetings with students and families—educating everyone about the many pieces of the college puzzle. In the fall of senior year we welcome admission reps from over 150 colleges and universities to our campus to meet and chat with interested students.

Our hands-on, personal approach to the college process, supported by MaiaLearning, our online college management system, gives Hilltoppers all the tools they need to make the right college choice.

The College Counseling Office is located on the first floor of Walker Hall. We look forward to your visits!
