2026 Cum Laude Society Inductees | News | Worcester Academy

Worcester Academy proudly celebrated the academic excellence of 19 students during its 2026 Cum Laude Society Induction Ceremony. This annual tradition honors members of the senior class who have achieved exceptional academic distinction while demonstrating character and integrity throughout their time at the Academy.

Established in 1906, the Cum Laude Society recognizes scholastic achievement in secondary schools across the country. Inductees rank among the top students in their class and reflect the Society’s values of excellence, honor, and justice.

The ceremony was made especially meaningful as each inductee was introduced by a faculty advisor or mentor who spoke personally about the student’s journey, growth, and contributions to the Worcester Academy community. These reflections highlighted not only academic achievement but also the qualities of leadership, curiosity, and resilience that define each scholar.

Head of School Kevin Breen presented each student with a certificate to mark their induction, commending them for their dedication and the example they set for others.
