In a dramatic & competitive game, Loomis Chaffee downed Worcester Academy as part of the Zero Gravity Prep Classic at St. Andrew's School in Barrington, RI.
Tight from the tip, the backcourt of seniors Quest Harris (Lowell, MA), Judson Martindale (Sudbury, MA), junior Jhamyl Fricas (Lawrence, MA) & sophomore Dasonte Bowen (Boston, MA) kept WA ahead for most of the half. They took a 39-35 lead into the break.
Fricas & Harris carried WA in the second half, but a late Loomis step-back 3-pointer with 1.7 seconds on the clock put them ahead for good, 75-74.
Harris scored a season-high 15 points, while Bowen added 15 and Fricas established a new career-high with 15 points.
