WA Tops Brimmer, 71-56
In their home opener, WA defeated fellow NEPSAC Class AA opponent Brimmer School, 71-56.
After a hotly contested first half, a late scoring binge by senior point guard Quest Harris (Lowell, MA) put the Hilltoppers ahead 33-26 at the half. The scoring would continue in the second half lead by three 3-pointers by sophomore point guard Dasonte Bowen (Boston, MA) & the hard-fought drives by Judson Martindale (Sudbury, MA) propelled the Hilltoppers to victory.
Bowen scored 22 points, while Martindale added 16.
