Retirement News

Two of our beloved community members will be retiring after this school year. During their long tenures, both have left an undeniable mark on Worcester Academy.

Donald Irving, Chair of the Visual and Performing Arts Department and Director of the Upper School Choir, will depart after 38 years. From the stage to the classroom, Mr. Irving has defined and enriched the arts at Worcester Academy, sharing his enthusiasm, passion and talent. His effervescence will be greatly missed on the Hilltop.

Nancy Osborn has worked at Worcester Academy for 24 years, most recently as the Director of Parent Relations. She has worn many hats during her time here, including Director of Alumni Relations, dorm parent, and advisor. Mrs. Osborn will be best remembered for the meaningful relationships she created with students, families, alumni and colleagues, no matter her role.

We are grateful for their unwavering commitment to Worcester Academy and wish Mrs. Osborn and Mr. Irving all the best in their retirement.
