The Harold Emmons III '60 Cross Country Course
The trail where our Cross-Country team trains and races is a few strides away from our New Balance Athletic Fields. This gradual sloping course with loops covers 3.1 miles in length and crosses a natural stream at multiple points. It is a great place to connect with nature and a challenging route to navigate. Some Science classes are known to occasionally sneak away from campus to explore the flora and fauna found here too. The course was dedicated in the fall of 2004 as The Harold Emmons III ’60 Cross Country Course.
JV Baseball Field
The JV baseball diamond is one of five fields at the New Balance Fields. The baseball field is also home to multiple teams as practice and game sites during the fall season and for American Legion baseball teams during the summer months.
In the fall, the fields at the mid-elevation level are home to our soccer teams; in the spring, to our lacrosse teams. The fields are beautifully manicured and maintained and are the envy of many opposing teams and spectators.
The New Balance softball diamond is one of the areas finest facilities. It is the home of the Varsity and JV softball teams. A fan and player favorite, the fenced in field offers a fine stone dust infield and a lavish grass outfield and played host to the MIAA Regional Softball Tournament in 2011.
The New Balance fields were constructed in 2001 and are located approximately 5 miles from our main campus. There are 36 acres of land at the complex and fields convert from season to season. In the fall the fields at the mid-elevation level are home to our soccer teams; in the spring, to our lacrosse teams. The fields are beautifully manicured and maintained and are the envy of many opposing teams and spectators.
