WA Tops PA By Double Digits
Worcester Academy defeated Phillips Academy Andover on Friday night, 88-78.
After going into halftime tied at 40, WA come out strong with finishes by senior wing Judson Martindale (Sudbury, MA) & sophomore point guard Dasonte Bowen (Boston, MA), and ran away with the second half to seal a 88-78 victory. Martindale & junior guard Jhamyl Fricas (Lawrence, MA) paced WA in the second half.
Martindale, who is committed to play at Holy Cross next year, lead the charge with 25 points. Three Hilltoppers netted 13 points: Bowen, and senior big men Michael Rabinovich (Hopkinton, MA) & Josh Ogundele (London, ENG).
