Weekly Athletic Update, 4/2/2019

Spring season is here and we welcome the nearly 225 student-athletes who will populate our teams. We will sponsor 11 Upper School teams with co-ed teams being offered in our Crew, Golf and Track & field programs. Additionally, we welcome two new head coaches in our lacrosse programs; Jake Sumner assumes the reins on the boys’ side and Paul Morrison will direct the fortunes of the girls’ varsity lacrosse.

Several teams have already had scrimmages and it appears our Spring teams will follow suit from our successful winter season and field competitive rosters!
 - Boys’ varsity tennis roared out of the gate with an impressive 6-3 win on Saturday over Portsmouth Abbey
 - Baseball opened at Blackburn Field as well and looked crisp in pushing past St. George’s School

There is a full slate of games and meets in the upcoming week so let the spring games begin!
