Welcome!
Worcester Academy is a private, independent, co-ed day and boarding school for grades 6 to 12 and postgraduates in Worcester, Massachusetts.  Our historic urban setting, diverse community, and challenging curriculum provide students with a solid, real-world education.

Visit us and you'll find motivated students and exceptional teachers engaged in dynamic, experiential learning.  We challenge assumptions and collaborate in search of a greater understanding of our world.  Our Middle School utilizes an interdisciplinary curriculum that teaches students how to think critically, logically, and analytically.  Our high school curriculum includes over 30 Honors and AP courses, 5 language choices (including Mandarin), 42 arts offerings and a math program that is recognized throughout New England for its rigor.

Students gain global perspective through opportunities that extend beyond the classroom and use 21st-century tools, like their 1-to-1 assigned MacBooks, to enhance their learning and self-expression.

We've been cultivating academic excellence and shaping future leaders since 1834.  Join us to learn more about how we prepare students to "Achieve the Honorable."
