Summer weather conditions have finally abated and a clear, crisp early fall evening welcomed WA football fans to Morse Field on Saturday. Phillips Exeter Academy provided the competition and the Hilltoppers were on point throughout the contest, running away with a 46-20 decision. Cullen McCarty ’17 scored three touchdowns and ran for 110 yards to lead the offense and junior quarterback Daryan McDonald directed an efficient WA offense, highlighted by a late 1st half 46-yard strike to tight end, Peter Banks.
