Worcester Academy Wins State Championship Math Meet For 9th Time In 10 Years

Congratulations to members of Worcester Academy's Upper Math Team, which won the State Championship Math Meet yesterday in the small school division for the 9th time in 10 years (2015, 2014, 2013, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, and 1995)! Next stop – the New Englands, where WA is going for a three-peat, and its 7th New England championship overall!

Worcester Academy also outscored thirteen of fourteen medium schools at the meet, and if the team had competed in the large school division (with eight students instead of six) it was on pace to beat thirteen of the sixteen large schools.
