BioCamp Marks Second Year in Summer 2008
The Worcester Academy Biology Camp (BioCamp) is an investigative and entirely hands-on program that introduces motivated students to the exciting field of biology. Participants will pursue research questions within varied biological disciplines, including microbiology, biotechnology, ecology, biochemistry, and plant biology. Many investigations will employ the use of computers and Vernier probes to automate data collection. Students will also use laptop computers (provided) to learn methods of data analysis and presentation. The BioCamp will culminate with a scientific symposium during which participants may share their scientific findings.
