In an offensive shootout, the Hilltoppers held off St. Mark's at Rowe Court yesterday afternoon. In a tight contest where neither team was able to muster any more than a 6 point advantage, Worcester made plays and free throws down the stretch to beat St. Mark's in a highly entertaining contest!Austin Carroll poured in 29 points (5 three pointers) to lead the home team and was ably assisted by fellow seniors Daymon Warren (19 points, 10 rebounds), Deshawn Dockery (12 points, 6 assists and 3 steals) and Gabe Kindred (10 points, 5 assists, 2 steals). Sam Martin's two free throws with :15 seconds remaining gave the hosts a 5 point point edge as the Hilltoppers survived a late three pointer to secure the win. Worcester is off now for the break and will return to action here at Daniels gym, Saturday, 1/10 with a 2 PM contest with Vanier College (Canada).
