Worcester Academy is represented by six alumni hoops stars in this year's NCAA college basketball tournament.

They are Tim Burns '03, George Mason; Jason Chappell '02, Wisconsin; Carl Elliott '03, George Washington; Makan Konate '03, George Mason; Craig Smith '02, Boston College; and Brendan Winters '02, Davidson.

Each of these former WA basketball standouts played for onetime WA coach R. Morgan "Mo" Cassara '93, who is now head basketball coach at Worcester's Clark University.
