- Strengthen Hilltopper spirit and our sense of community.
- Attract and support an increasingly diverse student body.
- Promote a well-rounded and balanced lifestyle so that students will become responsible and healthy adults.
- Strengthen student leadership at home and abroad.
- Attract, retain and sustain a diverse and exemplary faculty, staff and administration.
- Recognize and reward faculty innovation in the areas of community, diversity and global initiatives.
- Establish comprehensive marketing initiatives to better promote Worcester Academy within existing markets and to expand Worcester Academy's reach into new markets.
- Cultivate and increase a diverse range of mutually beneficial community partnerships that enhance student learning.

- Create an innovative program with roots in a strong tradition of curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular excellence.
- Develop dynamic educational offerings that equip students with knowledge, abilities and skills to thrive in any environment.
- Expand learning opportunities outside the classroom.
- Cultivate and reward creativity.
- Equip Worcester Academy to lead in adaptation and implementation of environmental sustainability practices.
- Increase faculty participation in creation of next practices in teaching.

Step #3
Goal 3: By 2014, Worcester Academy will assess, support, and sustain its community and educational programs through exemplary institutional systems and practices.

- Create facilities and campus master plans that maintain, restore and enhance Worcester Academy's uniquely urban campus to meet changing 21st century needs.
- Develop a facilities funding plan that is supported by diversified sources.
- Cultivate alliances with educational, social, business, philanthropic and urban partners that benefit Worcester Academy, its educational program, and the local community.
- Build on the strength of the existing long-range financial plan to ensure Worcester Academy's long-term financial sustainability.
- Develop and fund a marketing communications plan that will increase awareness of and support for Worcester Academy.
- Develop and adopt a school-wide plan for environmental responsibility and civic engagement.
- Model best practices in the advancement of a culture of philanthropy that benefit Worcester Academy and the neighboring community.
